Overview

What Does the Critical Skills Program do?

The primary mission of the Critical Skills Program (CSP) is to help all NSU law students develop fundamental skills that provide a solid foundation for success on law exams, the bar exam, and the practice of law.

These skills include:

  • critical reading
  • logical thinking
  • organized writing
  • time and stress management

To accomplish its mission, CSP offers a comprehensive set of courses, from 1L through bar exam preparation, to assist in making smooth and effective transitions from layperson to law student and ultimately, licensed attorneys. Assited by staff, highly qualified CSP instructors teach, guide, coach, mentor, motivate, and support NSU law students throughout their law school career and while studying for the bar exam.
