Judicial Field Placement

The Judicial Field Placement program is a for-credit program (3 credits total) that provides students the opportunity to work as a Judicial intern.  Students must register for both the Judicial Field Placement (LAW 0822 - 2 credits Pass/D/Fail) and the Judicial Field Placement Class (LAW 0821 - 1 credit graded).  In addition to working directly in a judge’s chambers, the Judicial Field Placement includes a classroom component that covers the organization of courts, the selection of judges, the role of lawyers, the appellate process, as well as the policy and impact courts have on society.
