The First Generation Professionals Legal Society is an organization with the primary goal to serve the interests of first generation professional students. We have created an organization is united by the common bond of being the first member of their families to attend a professional school.
The purpose of this organization is to establish a connection between first generation professional students and the community through outreach programs; it also seeks to provide an opportunity to future students and alumni of the organization to interact in the legal profession. Also, this organization’s purpose is to create a nexus whereby students can congregate and learn from each other. We hold a variety of events throughout the semester to promote networking, education and community service.
