Florida has been ground zero for election news regularly during the 21st century. In each election in Florida, both individual and public health issues resonate strongly due to its demographics and history. Health care policy is certain to be a key issue in this important state in the upcoming presidential primary election on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
To educate voters about a series of important health care policy issues, NSU Law will host national expert James Hodge, Jr., the Peter Kiewit Foundation Professor of Law at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, Arizona State University.
Professor Hodge will examine major Presidential candidates’ positions on a slate of core health law and public health law topics, including Medicare for All, Affordable Care Act, gun violence prevention, reproductive health, and prescription drugs.
