Education:

  • Laurea magistrale in Giurisprudenza (JD equivalent) Roma Tre University, 2001
  • PhD in European Private Law, University of Verona, 2005

Professor Vardi is associate professor of Private Comparative Law at the Roma Tre Law School. She graduated summa cum laude at the Roma Tre University Law School in 2001 and obtained her Ph.D. in European Private Law at the University of Verona. She was a Lecturer in Private Comparative Law at the University of Roma Tre from 2005 to 2016 and was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Yale Law School and Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institut für Ausländisches und Internationales Privatrecht in Hamburg. She has taught several courses and seminars in Universities both in Italy and abroad and currently teaches Private Comparative Law and Comparative Legal Systems at the Roma Tre University. Her main fields of research include private comparative law, European private law, financial markets, and monetary law, payment systems, and fintech. She has published a book on "The Integration of European Financial Markets: The regulation of monetary obligations " (Routledge, 2010), and has authored several articles on these topics.
