Jaume Tarabal Bosch is a professor of Civil Law, Succession Law and Property Law at the University of Barcelona. He researches in the areas of security rights and the law of succession, with relevant publications in both fields. Since 2009 he is part of the Study Group of Catalan Civil Law. Tarabal Bosch has participated as a researcher on several public funded projects, both national and international, and has significant experience acting as Spanish Rapporteur for EU funded private law research projects. He is a senior member of the Catalan Association of Specialists on Succession Law. He has been teaching or researching as a visiting professor in the University of Bologna (2007-2009), Columbia Law School (2007), University of Arizona (2008), Hamburg University (2011), University of Rome-Tor Vergata (2012), University of Trento (2012), University of Cagliari (2013), University of Münster (2015) and Normal University of Beijing (2017).
