Rob Beharriell is a Professor of Practice in the Academic Success and Professionalism (ASP) Program. He teaches the Florida Bar Exam Lab where he works with students to help them develop several of the skills needed to pass the Florida portion of the bar exam. He also serves as a coach in the Raising the Bar program where he mentors and advises recent graduates throughout their preparation for the Florida Bar Exam. He has been coaching students in this program since 2017. 

Professor Beharriell has been teaching at the Shepard Broad College of Law since 2013 where he has taught Advanced Legal Research Techniques. In his prior role as a Research and Reference Librarian, he regularly provided research instruction to students in Legal Research and Writing and in upper-year skills and seminar courses. 

He recently co-presented Learning Through Design: Roleplaying as Question Drafter with Professor Ghenete ‘G’ Wright Muir at the Association of Academic Support Educators (AASE) conference in San Antonio, Texas in May of 2022. He is actively involved in AASE and currently serving as Treasurer-Elect on the Executive Board and as a member of its Online Presence Committee. 

He supports many of the College of Law’s students by regularly coaching moot court teams and taking part in NSU Law’s annual Feinrider competitions. 

Professor Beharriell is a member of the Florida Bar. He has practiced in dependency law and has also volunteered for Legal Aid Service of Broward County’s Affordable Housing Advocacy Project.
