Education:

Professor Boháč is currently associated professor of Financial Law and Financial Sciences at Charles University, Faculty of Law in Prague. He is a member of Department of Financial Law and Financial Sciences where he teaches Financial Law, Tax Law, Budgetary Law and Legislative Drafting. Professor Boháč is a chair of Faculty of Law Academic Senate and a member of Academic Senate of Charles University.

Professor Boháč specializes in budgetary law and tax law, especially the concept of tax, essential elements of tax and tax procedure. He is the author or co-author of more than fifty articles and books and researcher of many public grants. The topic of his habilitation work was “Tax incomes of public budgets in the Czech Republic” (Wolters Kluwer, Prague, 2014).

In addition to pursuing his academic career, Professor Boháč is Deputy Director of the Department Tax Legislation Unit at Czech Ministry of Finance and Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Public Law II – Financial Law of the Legislative Council of the Czech Government.
