Education:
Thomas A. DiVito II, Esq. is a Professor of Practice in the Academic Success and Professionalism (ASP) Program at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. He brings more than a decade of educational experience to his work with students, including teaching nearly all high school and some college subjects, especially advanced math, science, and history.
Prior to joining Shepard Broad College of Law, Professor DiVito was a patent examiner in the bioinformatics art unit at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has also worked for an intellectual property firm and healthcare compensation valuation company.
Professor DiVito graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. There, he participated in the Health Rights Clinic, Immigration Clinic, and Startup Clinic. He earned his Master of Arts in Anthropology from Florida Atlantic University with a concentration in Biological Anthropology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Canisius University.
