Olga M. Torres is a Professor of Practice in the ASP Program. She teaches fundamental skills essential to the successful study and practice of law, including critical reading, logical analysis, legal writing, professional identity formation, and bar exam preparation. She also serves as the inaugural Clinical Fellow for the Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Law Clinic, assists with the supervision of the post-graduate LaunchPad attorneys, and teaches Client Interviewing and Counseling Workshop. Further, she works to coordinate community outreach events and promote pro bono legal services in the AIDD community.

Prior to joining NSU Law, Professor Torres practiced in the areas of real estate, business and corporate transactions, foreclosure defense, and commercial litigation. She is a certified county court mediator, a qualified arbitrator, and is admitted to practice law in the Southern District of Florida. Professor Torres graduated magna cum laude from the Shepard Broad College of Law. In law school, she participated in the Dispute Resolution Clinic, was a member of numerous student organizations, received several CALI Excellence High Grade Awards, and received the Gold award given through the Pro Bono Honor Program
