Omar Giraldo is a partner at Cole, Scott & Kissane's Fort Lauderdale West Office. Mr. Giraldo’s practice includes commercial litigation, defending negligence claims, product liability defense, coverage work, class action, and general casualty defense. Mr. Giraldo also assists insurers investigate fraudulent claims pre-suit and handles the claims through litigation.

Mr. Giraldo earned his Juris Doctorate at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He was an active member of the Nova Trial Association and Moot Court Society. He was inducted into the National Order of the Barrister for excellence in trial advocacy. After graduation, Mr. Giraldo accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit. He tried over 30 cases to jury verdict and prosecuted a wide range of cases, including insurance fraud.

Mr. Giraldo is active in the community and is on the Executive Board for the Young Lawyer Section of the Broward County Bar Association. He carries an AV Preeminent® rating with Martindale-Hubbell and was named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers.
