The NSU Corporate and Securities Law Society (CSLS) is a student organization dedicated to the exploration of corporate and securities
law through networking with law professionals, learning legal practices, and seeking
mentorship, internship, and job opportunities for its members. Our purpose is to provide
members with educational and networking opportunities with alumni, practicing attorneys,
faculty members, and other students that share an interest in corporate and securities
law.
CSLS aims to educate our members and facilitate the development of professional contacts
for mentorship, internship, and job opportunities through the following:
- Student and alumni events
- Panel discussions with practicing corporate and/or securities law attorneys
- Networking events with faculty members and/or practicing attorneys
- Development of a mentorship program
- Pro bono/community service projects
To join CSLS, please submit an application (by e-mail or Google Form) and contact
the CSLS Director of Finance for payment of dues. Membership dues are a one-time fee
of $25.00 for first-year law students (1Ls), $20.00 for second-year law students (2Ls),
