1980

Charles D. Wilder of Estate Planning and Legacy Law Center received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. 

1981

Douglas M. McIntosh of McIntosh Sawran & Cartaya in Ft. Lauderdale spoke to the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys at its annual meeting in Cleveland on “The Art of Conversation and Picking Your Best Juries.”

1985

Melinda Gentile of Peckar & Abramson was a speaker at the AGC of America’s Advanced Management Program, “Contract & Alternate Dispute Resolution,” in Dallas.

1991

Tami R. Wolfe of Kalis, Kleiman & Wolfe has been named president-elect of the Rotary Club of Davie-Cooper City.

1994

Matthew S. Nelles of Berger Singerman was appointed to a three-year term on the editorial board of the Quarterly Journal for the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

1997

Sharon Cooper Lindsey has joined Jones Lowry in West Palm Beach as a director. Lindsey is responsible for design, implementation and management of wealth transfer strategies for the firm’s clientele of multi-generational and international families and entrepreneurs, as well as clients’ legal, accounting, and financial advisors. 

1999

Paul J. Gamm made the top up and comers list at the U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP.

2000

Neil St. John Rambana, gave the keynote speech at the naturalization ceremonies in the Northern District of Florida United States District Court.

2004

Alison Smith was named to the Keiser University Advisory Board. 

2006

Jennifer Diaz, was a panelist for AILA’s event, “Do you know rights (and your clients’ rights) when encountering law enforcement at airports and other ports of entry?” and spoke to 53 companies at a food trade show in Bulgaria. Attendees learned about how to import food and cosmetics into the U.S. and how to comply with the U.S. Customs and FDA laws and regulations. 
Louis Reinstein is being installed as the President of the B’nai B’rith Justice Unit #5207 at the 38th Annual Installation and Brunch on February 11, 2018.
Kristin Bianculli, published The Appeal of Mentorships: The BCBA’s Revamped Mentorship Program in the January 2018 Broward County Bar Association Barrister.

2008

The Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, led by President Sara Sandler, was recognized as the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division 2018 Large Affiliate of the Year for its excellence in public service, member service and creative use of resources.

2011

Caryn A. Stevens has joined “ Ward Damon ”. Stevens is an associate who focuses on marital and family law.
Jamaal Jones, will be participating in a therapeutic jurisprudence workshop at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, discussing my forthcoming (as-yet-untitled) article on therapeutic jurisprudence in health law. On Thursday, February 22, will present at the 9th Annual Interdisciplinary Conference presented by the College of Health Sciences.
Valerie Barton Barnhart and Jorge Freddy Perera, have formed the law firm Perera Barnhart. The firm provides legal services in the areas of business litigation, labor and employment, business transactions, and cybersecurity and data privacy.
Morgan Ben-David was a panelist at The Mentoring Program Breakfast at Nova Southeastern University’s Law Office of Career and Professional Development focused on how to create and manage a personal brand as well as professional career growth.

2013

Brooke Latta, published A Dedication to Service, Welcoming our Newest Member of the Judiciary: The Honorable Thomas J. Coleman in the January 2018 Broward County Bar Association Barrister.
