The Honorable Ivonne Cuesta, was elevated to the 11th Judicial Circuit Court by Governor Scott. Judge Cuesta has served as a County Court Judge in Miami-Dade County since 2012, and she previously worked in the Office of the Public Defender for the 11th Circuit.


C. Berk Edwards has opened Edwards Mediation & General Counsel Services, PLLC in Fort Myers, FL. In addition to his mediation practice, Edwards will continue to provide general counsel services to a diverse range of clientele.
Oscar Grisales-Racini, has joined Fowler White Burnett in Miami as a shareholder in the tax, trust and estates, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity/venture capital practice groups.
Sally H. Seltzer, has joined McIntosh Sawran & Cartaya in Miami as a partner focusing on general liability and professional liability matters, including those filed against insurance agents. Ian Tarasuk has joined Sholom & Zuckerbrot Realty LLC as an associate real estate broker. Prior to joining Sholom & Zuckerbrot Realty, Tarasuk served for the past 11 years as staff attorney in the Juvenile Rights Division of the Legal Aid Society of New York.

Kayla Riera-Gomez, of Klein Glasser Park & Lowe in Miami was elected to the board of directors for the Coral Gables Bar Association. 
Dena B. Sacharow, published Client Communication Regarding Proposals for Settlement can Prevent Legal Malpractice Claims in the October Broward County Bar Association Barrister.

Mark Johnson and Abdul-Sumi Dalal, have formed The IP Law Firm, PLLC. Their offices focus on intellectual property law firm specializing in patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Mark is board certified in intellectual property law.
Joshua T. Higgins, from Kelley Kronenberg has been elevated to partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.

Tejus Karia is a director on the board of the IRCC (Indian Regional and Cultural Center) which is hosting their 7th annual Diwali Festival of Lights at the Broward Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL on November 11th.
