NSU Law and The Recording Academy® Florida Chapter will present a CLE program focusing on several musical artist rights issues that are currently in legislative development. This program provides an interdisciplinary review of important legal issues for artists in the business of music today.
A panel discussion will be moderated by Kenneth Abdo, an attorney and private practice artist advocate who sits on The Recording Academy Board of Trustees. Panelists include Todd Dupler, an attorney and Director of Government Relations for The Recording Academy in Washington D.C.; Joel Richard, Legislative Counsel for Congressman Ted Deutch; and Dan Warner, GRAMMY, Latin GRAMMY, and Emmy winning producer and guitarist.
