Welcome to NSU Law

You did it!

Your hard work has paid off and your goal of going to law school is now a reality. Congratulations on your admission to NSU Shepard Broad College of Law. You can now join thousands of lawyers who chose NSU Law to launch a successful and satisfying career.

Now that you’ve been accepted, you can shift your focus from “getting in” to determining the right fit for you success in law study and the profession. NSU Law has distinguished itself as a school that trains lawyers ready to practice the day they are admitted to the Bar. Clinical programs, field placements, workshops and simulation courses have our students work a case from start to finish several times during their studies. Our innovative Global Law Leadership Initiative offers a summer immersion program into the business of lawyering, thus enabling our students to establish their own firms and businesses and be successful entrepreneurs. You can now take the next step on your path to success by studying at NSU Law.

We believe you are poised to do quite well in our competitive academic environment and I hope that you choose to enroll at NSU Law. I cannot stress enough the importance of making a choice based on fit, programs, academic support, finances, location, environment, bar passage and employment success, and opportunities for your personal and professional development and growth.

This Admitted Students site has been created to give you the information you need at the time that it is needed. During the summer months, additional information will roll out addressing summer preparation, registration, and orientation. Everyone in the Office of Admissions is ready and happy to work with you each step of the way. You will receive personal attention when you enroll at NSU Law; we’re starting that for you now!

A Facebook group has been created for those accepted to the fall 2017 entering class. The group becomes more active in the spring into the summer, when it becomes quite lively. It’s a terrific way to meet others in the class, get help on housing and organizing yourself, and to get information quickly.

Don’t hesitate to contact me or our staff with questions of for any help you need going forward. We want to get to know you and we are eager to do what we can to assist you!

Sincerely,
Dean Perez
