The Christopher T. Byrd Environmental Law Fellowship is designed to provide funding for qualified law students who are spending the summer working for a nonprofit public interest organization with a demonstrated commitment to protecting the environment. Students selected to receive these fellowships must meet all the criteria. To make a donation to this fund, please visit the College of Law giving page and select "Gifts in Memory of Christopher T. AMOUNT OF AWARD
The Christopher T. Byrd Environmental Law Fellowship awards may range from $1,000 to $2,000 each, but will be determined annually based on the number of funds available and the number of eligible applications. The Fellowship Committee reserves the right to not award any fellowships to preserve the integrity of the program
