Adjunct Professor Lerman, Principal of Cathy Jackson Lerman, PA, has practiced law in Florida since 1982. She has a diverse legal background which permits her to handle a wide variety of legal matters. She began her career as a litigator with a general law practice, handling both civil and criminal cases. In addition to growing a successful law practice, Adjunct Professor Lerman has served as general counsel to high growth and Fortune 500 companies in the technology, health care and finance sectors.
Adjunct Professor Lerman has directed the litigation strategy for many high profile lawsuits, involving multimillion dollar claims, including class action suits, attorney general investigations, DOJ investigations, and regulatory matters both in the U.S. and Europe.
Adjunct Professor Lerman serves as an advocate for the elderly, persons with disabilities and is heavily involved in helping victims of frauds, Ponzi schemes, contractor fraud, investment schemes, elder financial exploitation, and protection of those with accumulated assets.
