Education

Dan Kaufman is an AV Rate Civil Trial Attorney who has been practicing law since 1991 exclusively in the civil litigation arena. Mr. Kaufman has handled wrongful death, nursing home, catastrophic injury cases, and medical malpractice cases. He has been handling jury trials since 1991. Mr. Kaufman is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator. Mr. Kaufman has testified in court over 150 times in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County as an attorney's fee expert on a variety of topics.

Mr. Kaufman was part of the inaugural group professors who were hired to teach the Civil Pre­Trial Practice Course since the course's inception in 1999. Mr. Kaufman has continually taught the course at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law as an Adjunct Professor of Law since that inaugural year. Mr. Kaufman has also taught the Trial Advocacy course here at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law as well.
