Marilyn Anglade

Adjunct Professor Anglade is an attorney licensed in Florida experienced in worker’s compensation, both plaintiff’s claims and insurance defense.  She obtained her law degree from Florida A&M University – College of Law.  Dr. Anglade later went on to pursue a doctorate degree and obtained her Ph.D. in Higher Education from the Florida State University – College of Education.  During her doctoral studies, Dr. Anglade devoted her scholarship to the areas of employment discrimination law and higher education. Her dissertation on the application of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is the recipient of the Education Law Association’s Joseph Beckham Dissertation Award.  Dr. Anglade continues her research on the intersections between the law and higher education with a focus on social justice and equality issues.
