Orientation is mandatory for all entering 1L students. The program will provide you with a foundation in basic skills for success in law study, your first Legal Research and Writing class, the first class meeting of one of your doctrinal courses (Contracts, Criminal Law, or Torts). You will also have collaborative activities and social activities to aid you in networking with classmates, faculty, and administration and staff. The week ends with an optional Community Service activity to connect with our South Florida community and introduce you to the pro bono aspect of the legal profession.
First Class Assignments, Syllabi and Class Supplemental Materials:

These community service activities help connect you to our South Florida community, meet others in your class and the community who are committed to a particular type of service, and expand your network.
